Just had a really good morning geocaching
We did a 21 cache trail in 3 hours around Sutton Veny ( littlecombe trail ) and had a brilliant time , despite the wind , snow and being very vey muddy underfoot .
Just back for a nice hot coffee with a tot of rum _________________ Simon & Elaina |

Daggan it, we don't have any that close together round here. Well done.
I beat my record 3 times last week. No matter how I tried I never seemed to be able to bag more than 5 in a day, till last week.
Last wednesday I headed for Shrewsbury and got 6. Thursday I managed 10, thanks to an event with a nightcache.
Saturday I set off early and got my first at 8.55am, making my way up to an event in North Wales. I signed the log on my 9th at 12 noon in St Asaph and managed some more before the event where we went on a night cache that took in 3 others up the same hill.
It was a long day, I got home at 1/4 to 12, having left before 8am, but I got 18 finds. _________________ I'd rather be hunting for plastic boxes in the woods. |

That's cool, I've never found anything I've put in one in another one.
I did spot a TB in Much Wenlock that had nothing attached, so I didn't take it because I didn't know what it's goal was. It's called "celebration" and is supposed to have something to do with your celebration attached and a photo taken - then the next finder takes off your thing and puts their own on. I found it in a Shrewsbury cache with a christmas thingy on it, so I took that off and put a Valentine's Day teddy on, and printed out the sheet with it's mission on to go with it - now I'm trying to find a cache to put it in as it's a bit big for most "small" ones.
Same problem as I had with Martha Jones TB.
I coughed up for Premium Membership - but there aren't any PMO caches round here. If anyone wants me to look for them near you,let me know 'cos you can still find them and log your finds. _________________ I'd rather be hunting for plastic boxes in the woods. |
