Is anyone interested in taking part in the Cancer Research UK Race for Life?

Race for Life events are taking place across the UK. Choose your nearest Race for Life event and be part of the UK's largest women-only fundraising event to help beat cancer.

I did the run at Sutton Park in Birmingham in 2002. There was a fantastic atmosphere on the day, with a huge crowd of women of all ages taking part, all raising money for Cancer Research. It's a 5km walk, run, stroll or however you want to do it! Anyone else fancy it? friendly_hamster

Sounds like a plan, you could share one leg with a bad ankle and a duff knee. ist_depressiv It doesn't sound so good when you think about it.

A couple of ladies I know are doing it - the thing is, if we all did it there'd be no-one left to sponsor us - so I'm being a sponsor instead. daumen_hoch

Right, I am fairly confident my knee is on the mend so I have registered for the Race for Life (as opposed to the Hop for Life weint_vor_lachen ). If anyone would like to sponsor me, please visit my fundraising page:

Only 12 days until I do the Race for Life and I am really looking forward to it. I just wanted to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who has sponsored me from Combi Campers tanzt . So far, I have raised £177, which with Gift Aid means Cancer Research UK will receive over £220 for its life-saving work. Thanks everyone! ahgg_hsdance

I will keep you updated on how it goes and post some pictures. daumen_hoch
