Just need to have a rant ...

OH's cousin has sent out wedding invites for her wedding - on the same day as ours !!!!!!!!!!!

She is trying to get in there first and nab all the family members - who sends out invites 9 months in advance the nasty moo !!!!

To make matters worse OH's parents will be going to the other one and not ours

Thought weddings were meant to happy occasions ?? ist_depressiv

my in-laws didn't come to ours and wouldn't allow oh's brother & sister and their families to come either - we told oh's lot a month before we got hitched and my lot a week before - mainly because we knew they've be funny and wanted to give them a chance - had 7 at the wedding (including us)....best thing we ever did......once we were married I was the best thing since sliced bread and as long as I made him happy blah blah blah - but it still hurt & we couldn't have any sort of party etc with no-one from his side.... ist_skeptisch

never regretted it though, we had our special day.....and your's will be great too for you both...... daumen_hoch

OH's parents won't come or baby sit their grand children that day cuz that would be seen as giving their blessing too !

Facinators are a bit pricey - i am dressed for 55 pound on the day - which is about as much as OH's tiara cost !!!! 20_grumpy
