Hi Ann

Its a shame that they are not going to exhibit this year. It was seeing them at the NEC last year that made up my mind to purchase. The offer still stands to see ours in Liverpool if you want to. I know its a bit out of your way but it is closer than Oxford!

that's it caz - they are a small family built business not a big company with lots of employers, I remember the rest of the dealers agreeing to not show - must cost them a fortune - Camperlands have a massive shop/grounds/ business in the middle of Manchester and sell everything from ground pegs to whatever, Mangine sell Combi's because they live and breathe them and loved them when their families were young daumen_hoch

Ann the best way to see them is to see them being used anyway..... daumen_hoch

Your right Mary they are a small family business, they were showing at the NEC in B'ham last October, as in our Business sometimes you have to pick and chose your shows carefully if you do them all you would end up having to double the price of your goods and thats not worth it.

But maybe if everyone who looked at both tells you their reasons that might help. For me it was the fact that I was thought a Camplet takes two people to open the Combi take one, and the big bed and the Kitchen on a Combi is definitely in my opinion superior. Even though I am deserting I will always be a fan of the Combi wish I had found them when I was younger. winken

Ann we will have to arrange a combi meet (combo) especially for you so you can view our different models! Then you will have to visit camperlands for the comparison.

For me the combi is more versatile - you have the bed combinations plus the cabin which is off the ground. Use of the awning is optional and it can be put up /down easily by one person with no pegging if you only use the cabin. With the newer models the the awning poles are telescopic and the awning can be used as a full awning or as a sun canopy.

Thats like mine Sooz, and my god is that Kitchen Awning a blessing if your only stopping for the night, I have used mine with all 3 variations, Kitchen, sun and full awning the only version I haven't done is the play pen effect where you have the full awning up but unzip the top half of the front and that rests over an additional pole for a play pen effect.

Pennine don't always show and they are a bigger firm. The cost must be prohibitive.

hi everyone, not been on here for a few months. Still looking for a combicamp, we drove up to Camperlands from Gloucester to see the camplets. Thought they were really good but combicamp far superior imo. Shame they wont be at the nec show as I was hoping to persuade OH the expense is worth it.
