The one we went on was lovely, entertainment for the little ones and because they are newer they are better thought out. tanzt

Has anyone taken a combi camp on speedferries? We used them last year before we got the combi and they were great but when I went to book this year they have a total maximum length of 7m. By my calculation, our car and the combi will be a combined total of 7.8m which looks like it will be too long. I wonder how carefully they check lengths? Looks like we might have to pay the ridiculous prices on P&O this year.

I’ve heard that they do stick to the rules and have even measured outfits and have turned people away verheult

Our 2cv plus Combi Sport just scrapes into the 7m limit (if the Combi had a bumper it wouldn’t ) weint_vor_lachen

Some Combi’s have an adjustable drawbar you may be able to shorten it for boarding the ferry daumen_hoch

Just be sure to put it back to normal when you get off at the other end winken
